LEONARD NERO, Director, Chief Financial Officer
Leonard Nero is MissionPoint’s Chief Financial Officer. Leonard most recently served as a vice president at Goldman, Sachs & Co where he was a member of the Investment Management Division’s Private Equity Group which manages over $20 billion in private equity funds, direct investments and secondary transactions. At Goldman Sachs, Leonard and his team spent over seven years with primary responsibilities translating to acting Chief Financial Officer. Prior to Goldman Sachs, Leonard provided due diligence and transactions services at Primedia Inc, a subsidiary of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co, where he worked on a broad range of mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. In addition, Leonard started his career at Coopers & Lybrand as a business assurance associate where he focused on audit and advisory services for financial service clients, primarily “bulge bracket” investment banks. Leonard earned a BS, summa cum laude, in Accounting and Finance from Fordham University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
